Lifestyles Of The Rich And Fameus

Rich and Fameus in-store appearance tomorrow (Friday, September 2) at 6. Get in where you fit in!

In their words…

It should come as no surprise that identical twins Michael and Rich Gamble were born in Hip-Hop’s birthplace of the Bronx. Since the group’s inception, the brothers have shown an inherent love and passion for the music and the culture. Early on their adoptive family saw the young twins’ penchant for the vibrant music that surrounded them. And after a family friend introduced the brothers Gamble to a real music studio, they immediately saw where their future would take them. Ignited by that exposure, the duo adopted the moniker, Rich & Fameus and their story officially began.

It wasn’t long after their completion of high school, that the brothers decided their careers would be better served in the exploding Hip-Hop metropolis of Miami. With the hunger of new artists, Rich & Fameus quickly crafted their debut mixtape: Don Cannon Presents “Ready for Take Off”. Chock full of bouncy tracks and memorable hooks, the energetic mixtapes immediately shows the talent that the duo posses. Featuring tracks like “Skateboard Fresh” and “Go Time”, their mixtape is most aptly described as an ode to both their roots and the daily grind towards accomplishing their dreams.

“We may not come from a picture perfect background, but our music relates to everyone that has pushed for their dreams,” said Rich.

Their music and authenticity is created by a principle that physical assets aren’t what makes a person “rich and famous,” but one’s perseverance and passion for any life goal. This principle is illustrated by an eclectic, fun energy-driven sound consisting of hip-hop, pop, dubstep and hint of rock throughout their music.

“Our music comes from a real place, and the opportunity to inspire others through our sound is more than we can ask for,” said Fameus.

“Fired Up,” a high energy track off of their debut mixtape Don Cannon Presents: “Ready for Take Off” is classified as a fun college party record that consists of youthful vibe and determination. Through the mixtape, listeners will find a melodic sound like Drake, a complexity of beats and lyrics like Jay-Z, and a charismatic quality like Lil’ Wayne. With all of these elements combined, Rich & Fameus spearhead a new facet of pop music that is evident through their unique sound.

With their multicultural background, Rich & Fameus injects diversity in their music with songs like “Night To End” and “Go Time” by blending a mixture of hip hop, pop, dubstep and rock. They depict a “how it is” attitude on the streets through a mantra that anyone who has a dream can make it when determination meets opportunity.

PANIC At Spacebar!

Lots going down here in the next few weeks! With the re-model finally complete, we are proud to introduce Spacebar. A multi-use space that is part showroom, part gallery and part event space. This just one part of major plan to help shine a light on what Orlando has to offer (More details on that later). We are more than mascots & roller-coasters.

In the next few weeks get ready for a lot of events to help set it off.

First up, we’ve got the Sweets For Your Feet party this weekend (August 20th). Followed by the Never Not Lurking photo show next weekend (August 27th). After that, another installment of Panic (September 3), everyones favorite alternative, indie & retro wave party.

The block is definitely hot.

Long live Covert!
